Summary About the Position: This position is a DOD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 USC 1599f. Employees occupying CES positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the 2d Theater Signal Brigade, 509th Signal Battalion, Vicenza, Italy. Responsibilities Serves as Chief of the Battalion S4 Office and staff advisor to the Network Enterprise Center which includes Vicenza and Livorno communities, and Lerino, Longare, Del Din military installations, and Mission Funded Sites with the Battalion's AOR. Responsible for property accounting, battalion, and unit level supply support, maintenance, services, transportation, travel related services, and budgetary, in support of the battalion's tactical, strategic, and base support missions Advises the Battalion Commander and Network Enterprise Center on matters involving supply issues, related services support, and other logistics functions. Serve as the focal point for property management and accountability procedures. Responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring compliance with logistical policies within the Battalion to ensure delivery of command, control, communications, computers, and information management USAREUR based tenant organizations Supervise subordinate military and civilian technical, administrative, clerical, and tradecraft personnel. Oversee and coordinate the Network Enterprise Center's overall logistics contract management program. Formulate policies, establishes objectives, and renders authoritative guidance (as it relates to the logistics program) under governing regulations. Plan and develop policies for the overall supply operation, including, but not limited to supply procurement, stock control, storage, issue, disposal, accountability, and Petroleum Oil Lubricate functions. Specialized experience would be demonstrated by coordinating the Network Enterprise Center's overall logistics contract management program; developing and executing material management programs, including inventory control and distribution throughout the system; planning and developing policies for the overall supply operation, including, but not limited to supply procurement, stock control, storage, issue, disposal, accountability, and Petroleum Oil Lubricate functions; and overseeing utilization of Interagency Fleet Management Systems (IFMS) vehicles and other transportation related services.
