About:

Traverse City Glass is a commercial glazing company. This role involves all aspects of fabricating and installing glass systems in commercial buildings - including but not limited to storefronts, curtain walls, entrance doors, and skylights.

Requirements:

• 18 years of age Driver's License with clean driving record
• Self-motivated, punctual, positive attitude, willingness to learn
• Comfortable with heights - working on lifts, swing stages, etc.
• Physical fitness - heavy lifting is required at times
• Construction experience preferred but not required
• Ability to travel for out-of-town work preferred but not required
• Responsibilities: Follow direction of Field Team and Project Managers
• Fabricate aluminum frames and prepare doors for hardware installation
• Securely load and transport glass, doors, and frames to job sites from our shop
• Installation of frames and glass materials on job sites

Compensation & Benefits:

• $18 - 22/hr starting wage for apprentice, possibility of higher starting wage based on experience
• Opportunity to advance to journeyman status and earn $35+/hr
• Additional hourly wage incentive, lodging, and meal per Diem when traveling
