Responsibilities Under the general supervision of the Client Delivery Services (CDS) Processing Manager, the CDS Processing Assistant accurately prepares and processes deliverables (financial statements, reports, etc.) according to firm standards. The CDS Processing Assistant performs work for various team members at varying levels and in multiple offices. The CDS Processing Assistant must demonstrate the ability to manage multiple priorities with various deadlines in a professional and time sensitive manner within a fast paced, dynamic and growing business environment. This position will work independently to complete assignments as well as occasionally working as a team.

  • Consistently and thoroughly completes processing requests (i.e., pro forma/roll forward, creation of new financial statements, conversion for a prior format, typing and check formatting) in accordance with firm standards, as well as proofreading documents for accuracy.
  • Ensures delivery based on business needs and within agreed upon timeframes without compromising quality.
  • Prepares and reviews drafts and final issued deliverables in PDF format for various documents and files them accordingly.
  • Performs final proofread and/or calculations (footing) using a checklist ensuring tasks are performed consistently and thoroughly.
  • Follows direction and demonstrates efficiencies in performing assigned duties. Communicates with team members to understand the role and expectations of an assignment as needed.
  • Effectively utilizes and stays current on available technology to ensure job related productivity.
  • Performs additional duties as required and assigned.

Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience in performing administrative assistant or clerical duties or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Familiarity with practices and procedures used in an accounting environment preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Standard DC or Adobe Acrobat Pro.
  • Skilled typist (quick and accurate).
  • Ability to handle multiple projects with various deadlines in a professional and time sensitive manner.
  • Ability to carry out written and oral instructions.
  • Sound written, verbal communication and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team and the capa ity to appropriately interact with all levels of firm management.
  • Familiarity with standard office practices, procedures and office equipment.
  • Dependability and professionalism.
  • Ability to adapt to an ever-changing environment. Support and embrace change.
  • Overtime required, with heavier overtime required during certain business cycles.
  • Must comply with all policies and procedures involving confidential and proprietary information pertaining to the firm.
  • Must be able to recognize the nature of material and keep in full confidence all work entrusted to them.
