Because at Solventum, we never stop solving for you.The Impact You'll Make in this RoleThe MedSurg Finance Director will report directly to the SVP MedSurg Finance and will be the finance business leader for financial planning and reporting processes. The role will interface with key business leaders, sales and customer operations, sales leaders, and key finance stakeholders (FP&A, portfolio finance, controllers) to provide financial and business partnership.As the MedSurg Finance Director, you will make an impact by:Partnering with business leaders and other internal stakeholders to drive growthOwning, augmenting, tracking, and updating the financial forecasting cycles includingstrategic plan, annual operating plan, quarterly forecasts, and latest estimatesWorking with sales leaders, sales operations, marketing to drive our growth goals whiledelivering financial targets; ensuring high forecast accuracy and predictability both domestically and internationallyCollaborating with internal suppliers and customers to design, develop, and drivecontinuous improvement activities to enable us to serve customers more effectivelyDeveloping financial models to highlight revenue and profit growth opportunitiesYour Skills and ExpertiseTo set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelor's Degree or higherTen (10) years of experience working in finance organizations with key understanding of business unit and commercial processes and reportingFive (5) years of experience of financial modeling for international organizationsFive (5) years of finance experience within a healthcare OR Manufacturing industryFive (5) years of leadership experience managing senior level teamsAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:CPA, CMA or equivalent international certificationExperience in the MedTech IndustryResponsible for Income StatementsLeadership and collaboration skills to engage with business stakeholders and drive alignment on financial assumptionsAbility to lead through others and influencePragmatic, results-oriented with a strong bias towards executing with speed, agility, and qualityExperience in a global business setting and understanding of operational and cultural differences due to geography, size, and scope of the organization Excellent oral and written ommunication skillsRecord of career progression with increasing levels of responsibilityOutstanding integrity, initiative, creativity, and passionPreference onsite in St. Paul, MN or RemoteTravel: May include up to 15% internationalRelocation Assistance: May be authorizedMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Supporting Your Well-beingSolventum offers many programs to help you live your best life - both physically and financially.
