Big Ass Fans Material Handler - 2nd Shift (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM) in Lexington, Kentucky

Big Ass Fans is searching for aMaterial Handlerto join our Second Shift Logistics team. This individual's responsibilities will be a combination of driving a stand-up and sit-down forklift to move, load, and unload material throughout the manufacturing facility, as well as picking and packing.

Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM - Some overtime may be required, including weekends.

Responsibilities
Observe Big Ass Fans (BAF) safety and security procedures and report potentially unsafe conditions or security issues promptly.
Practice safe work habits and operation at all times.
Adhere to all ISO procedures and work instructions to ensure a high level of quality.
Load, unload, and stagematerialthroughout the manufacturing facility in an efficient manner that meets or exceeds customer and company requirements.
Execution of physical inventory and regular cycle counting within the assigned zone.
Coordinate daily activities andresults to necessary personnel.
Help maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
Able to perform simple math transactions (add, subtract, multiply and divide).
Able to operate and/or become certified to operatematerialhandling equipment such as powered industrial trucks, pallet jacks, hand trucks, dollies, and roll carts in order to efficiently move product to and from trucks, staging areas, departments, and pallet rack.
Understand barcode technology and operate RF equipment as assigned.
Attendance at work is an essential function of this position.
Requirements
Experience driving a stand-up forklift is preferred
High school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo 2-3 month training period.
1-3 years previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, or order selecting experience.
Knowledge of ISO Standards, OSHA, and DOT rules and regulations.
Able to obtain powered industrial truck (forklift) certification or be able to produce proof of prior certification or training.
Safely use all packaging and freight handling equipment associated with a warehouse or distribution center, including forklifts, strapping tools and equipment, RF equipment, and personal computers.
Must be able to lift 40-70 pounds on a repetitive basis.
