Position Title: HR Generalist III

Location: Houston, Texas

Position Responsibilities:

  1. Analyze data and trends on ER and performance management, in order to provide input to the business strategy with the relevant HR Business Partner to prevent the recurrence of known issues; 2. Coach, train and guide managers during the Talent Management and Annual Compensation Planning processes. 3. Consult Managers on employee compensation concerns; 4. Enable the success of both new and experienced managers by leveraging, delivering and improving existing training content and Inside pages, and working with the central Talent Development teams to anticipate and address emerging needs; 5. Support managers and employees in identifying training opportunities to further develop functional and managerial skills; 6. Support people managers with career conversations, Development Plans/Career Growth Plans and other development initiatives; 7. Manage employees' programs and managers to drive improvements in employee engagement; 8. Provide guidance to HR Business Partners and the business on change initiatives; 9. Process ownership for Employee Relations management, including disciplinary and performance improvement; 10. Consult managers on people matters that require in depth knowledge of policies, procedures and local legislation; 11. Conduct investigations and manage employee relations cases, in coordination with the Employee Relations and with the Legal departments; 12. Manage the exit process, including conducting ad-hoc exit interviews; 13. Review local policies and processes in order to ensure that they are fit for purpose; 14. Act as a Point of Contact for people tools, processes, programs or projects, and advocate for improvements over time; 15. Design and deliver Manager Capability initiatives to further drive collective education and manager effectiveness; and 16. Analyze data and observations across the organization, highlighting trends and recommending/driving solutions 17. Telecommuting is permissible.

40 hours / week, 8:00am-5:00pm, Salary Range $130,000/year to $175,900/year.

Basic Qualifications

Position Requirements:

A Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, HR Management, Labor Relations, or related discipline and 3 years of relevant experience in human resources. In the alternative, employer will accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, HR Management, Labor Relations or related discipline followed by 5 years of progressively responsible experience in human resources. Experience must include:

  1. 1 year of experience in human resources process deployment and implementation

  2. 1 year of experience in labor and employee relations, employment and labor law, and HR data management.

  3. 1 year of experience in compiling and analyzing human resources process metrics, results, and recommended improvements. #0000
