Quality Process Engineer

Looking for a new challenge?

You just found a unique opportunity to lead initiatives for process and quality improvements for the extrusion process of our packaging products. In this – hands on - key position you are in charge of measuring and monitoring the performance of our quality management. Besides this, you are able to (further) develop and implement quality assurance standards and improvement structures that enable our organization to be more effective. Gaining more process knowledge and increasing competence levels with your expertise and coaching skills will be the first challenge. Team work and delivering results to improve our quality and “first time right” production will be part of our Continuous Improvement approach. This role will work closely together with all departments and functions to promote processes that ensure consistency and continuous improvement.

The Quality Process Engineer positively effects the quality department in both a ‘ strategical’ as well as a ‘ hands on’ manner.

In order to be able to reach this goal, you are in charge of following key responsibilities:

● Ensure only high quality products are released to the market;

● Investigate and support resolving quality issues;

● Ensure continued compliance with ISO9001 and ISO14001;

● Manage company audit program ensuring continued compliance and resolution of non-conformances;

● Manage and conduct failure investigation as required;

● Oversee customer quality complaints and take follow up actions;

● Other duties as required and requested by management;

● Reporting to plant manager

Job Requirements

Skills and experienced required:

● Technical Bachelor degree;

● Practical knowledge and experience of fundamental standard requirements e.g. ISO9001 and 14001;

● Excellent communication skills in Dutch, German and English;

● Excellent reporting and data analysis skills;

● Effective team member, motivated to achieve and demonstrate best practices in line with the objectives;

● Ability to lead and advocate quality and Improvements within the organization.
