Senior Manager, DTC Merchandising & Planning

This role is key in ensuring that the merchandising strategy aligns with the overall brand goals and sales plan.

How You Will Make a Difference

What you will do:

  • Execute a DTC merchandising strategy that incorporates the overall Dickies business goals and brand positioning, elevating the brand

  • Work with merchandising and design teams to determine product segmentation and exclusives for the DTC channel and key marketplaces

  • Report and measure KPIs related to product initiatives and annual goals set for the segment

  • Plan, forecast, and manage seasonal assortments

  • Determine the complete assortment for both Dickies.com and assist in the coordination of key marketplaces and the brand stores

  • Lead the integration of the of the DTC planning and merchandising process by partnering with internal stakeholders

  • Take an active role in Dickies GTM process representing the DTC teams

Skills for Success

Years of Related Professional Experience: 7+ years professional experience including proven track record of Merchandising and Planning in the DTC space.

Educational Position Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree with 5 years in merchandising, retail planning and buying in a DTC environment.

  • Proven experience developing and leading high-performance team

  • Previous experience building/analyzing detailed item/location level retail data- synthesizing into actionable business insights

What we expect you already know:

  • Demonstrated ability to work cross functionally to deliver large complex initiatives across multiple internal and external stakeholders

  • Extensive Microsoft Excel abilities needed, along with capability in Powerpoint

  • Strong digital analytical and strategic thinking skills

  • Strong forecasting abilities

  • Ability to drive business to meet and exceed company objectives

  • Proficient in planning systems

  • Should have the aptitude of working in a team and making decisions based on study and evaluation

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Strategic thinking and active listening skills

  • Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Must be organized, detail-oriented and able to work independently

Hiring Range :

$112,000.00 USD - $140,000.00 USD annually

Incentive Potential : This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential. Specific details of the additional compensation eligibility for this position will be provided during the recruiting and interview process.
