Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 an hour.

Capitol Distributing is the largest convenience wholesale distributor in Idaho. Founded in 1983, Capitol delivers to retailers across the Western United States from its 300,000 square foot distribution center in Caldwell, Idaho.

Schedule:This is a part-time position that is scheduled to work 20 hours per week on theweekends. Shifts will be 10 hours scheduled on both Saturday and Sunday. This position is seasonal through the months of May to September. Upon the close of the season permanent employment may be offered if performance was satisfactory through the seasonal period.

Job Responsibilities:

• The Fulfillment Clerk is responsible for picking various stock to fill customer orders.

• Use scanning devices to pick product and fulfill customer orders.

• Places product in totes and packages items correctly.

• Places Totes/Full case items on sorting belt/rollers for Loading Clerks.

• Follows safety rules for warehouse.

• Regularly communicates with Coworkers, Leads, and Supervisors for efficiency.

• Perform other duties and work in other areas as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Warehouse/manufacturing experience preferred.

• Experience in working in a warehouse a plus.

• Ability to lift and move product.

• Ability to use an electronic scanner to pick and locate items.

Working Conditions: Capitol has ambient, refrigerated, and freezer Fulfillment Clerks. Individuals working in freezer conditions will be provided adequate cold gear and receive additional pay. This role is very fast-paced and requires a significant amount of movement to meet order demands. Individuals in this position should expect to move throughout modules stocked with product. The position will require general physical movements such as walking, standing, lifting, bending, twisting, lifting up to 50lbs, and reaching. Individuals will also be expected to follow and understand basic instructions/policies.
